End up with your Puzzlesaurus's leg attached to his neck? Rib-bone connected to the face-bone? That's ok - trying to put it together correctly on your own is part of the fun. If you want help, check out these instruction pages to help you get you back on track and your Puzzlesaurus looking like millions of years of evolution intended.
Handling Guidelines:
- To put the pieces together, take care to align the notches precisely, grab the back of each piece, then slide them together. Wiggle the pieces as you bring them together until they are snug. There is no need to force them together once snug. If you have trouble, try separating the pieces completely and starting again. The initial alignment is very important, especially on the longer notches.
- To separate the pieces, grab the piece you wish to remove with 2 hands, one on either side of the notch. Then, use both thumbs to push against the interlocking piece. It is important to pull with equal pressure on either side, so using two hands is key. If you're still stuck, wiggle the pieces as you push.
- When moving your Puzzlesaurus, pick it up by the leg cross-pieces or spine. Do not push or slide it along the ground, or you may break the pieces if it catches on a dip or lip on the ground. You may need to remove a rib or other small piece to get a good grip.
